noo i know that brushing ur hair when its wet causes breakage but my hair is down to my BUTT and i braid it every night, and its perfectly smooth with no breakage, still. hope this helps!

That depends on the braid and how tight you are braiding your hair i recommend that you put anti damaging products in it before braiding if not spray a little water on hair before braiding
