Does braiding your hair before you sleep increase hair growth?

Idunno.

I was just reading about hair growth. And i was just wondering if this was true.

Here's where i got this info from: http://wiki.answers.com/Q/How_do_you_mak鈥?/a>

It's near the bottom.

Thanks! (:Does braiding your hair before you sleep increase hair growth?
i believe there is some truth to that statement. clearly logical. when you braid your hair its simply pulling your hair and when you braid it it is pulled and tightened. which can increase the speed of hairgrowth, but i wouldnt say too much. prolly would make a little difference [: why do you think bangs grow the quickest? cause we are always pulling on them and straightening them or pulling them back and all that stuff. its not proven to. After sleeping on the braid for a while anyway it will start to fall out and wont be pulling your hair anymore.

what does make your hair grow faster in regular trims to keep the split ends off as your hair grows slower when you have split ends, and the right diet.
No, it only protects it so it can grow. No effect on speed of growth.
