Does braiding your hair over night give a natural looking curl/wave?

Does it work when its wet?

How many should I do to get a wave/curl?

I really wanna curl my hair for school..Does braiding your hair over night give a natural looking curl/wave?
Curls from braids always looked crimped, in my opinion. If you're looking for a quick and easy way to achieve super bouncy cute curls, may I recommend paper bag curls?

Its super fun and easy. The tutorial explains everything. Cheers!Does braiding your hair over night give a natural looking curl/wave?
yeh it makes it beautifully wavy, but you can tell its not natural

best way to do it i find is to put your hair into 3 buns, not messy buns but the ones where you twist the hair until it sort of loops round lol, yeah then when you take them out you have lovely natural looking curls, you might have to go over them with the hairdryer in the morning though as in the bun if your hair is thick it might not dry =)
The tighter the braids, the tighter the wave. When you get out of the shower, dry hair 'til damn, apply a spray-in conditioner and braid your hair. You can choose two braids or multiples. I suggest multiple braids to get the best results. Be sure to braid tightly. (As tight as you can withstand, it will become somewhat lose while sleeping.) You can even twist them. Like Brian Welch from Korn.

In the morning, get ready as usual. Undo your braids (or twists) and finger-comb through. You should have medium to larger waves.

Good luck!
