Can corn rows(?) or African type braiding be done on a white person? How long does your hair have to be to do?

Can hair extensions be used if your own hair is not long enough? How do you find a shop that does braids exclusively or at least to include braiding? Can corn rows(?) or African type braiding be done on a white person? How long does your hair have to be to do?
yes it can be done but white people's scalp is much more sensitive than blacks. So ur head is gonna be really sore. just walk into a hair braiding salon and tell them what u want and they'll take care of you.Can corn rows(?) or African type braiding be done on a white person? Cornrows can be done on white people hair, it is more difficult, especially if your hair is really straight or thick. It depends on who is braiding your hair for how long it needs to be. Someone who is more proficient in braiding will do better than someone that merely knows how to do it. Look in the yellow pages. Some beauty shops put ads in there listing the services offered. You can have extensions braided in, but your hair has to be a little longer to have something to hold it on your head. It hurts to have cornrows, imagine all your hair being pulled tight for days. Plus it gets itchy, is hard to clean your scalp.
I'm pretty sure they can. Ask around, people will probably know where there is somebody who can do your braids for you. Your hair doesn't have to be that long. I have seen people who their hair was about chin length have it.
My wife's done it a few times. Typically shoulder length.
Google ';Bo Derek in 10'; to see what corn rows look like on a white woman
