What's the best gel to use when braiding hair, and how do you keep the braids so shiny, frizz undercontrol?

why would you use gel with braids? If yoy mean for the edges, I use JAM. I normally spray oil sheen on my braids or this Hawaian Silky shine stuff........What's the best gel to use when braiding hair, and how do you keep the braids so shiny, frizz undercontrol?
Jam works fine...hmm...a light,very light hair oil works well.
