What are the pros and cons of getting your hair braided?

I wanna get my hair braided and keep it braided for like a year or 2 to let it grow out, what are the pros and cons of getting your hair braided?What are the pros and cons of getting your hair braided?

If braided to tight you will have hair loss especially around the hairline and temple area.





Braids should only stay in for 2-3 months at a time and re did.





Braids can cause the hair to grow because of less combing.
Just get it deep conditioned and trimmed every 2 weeks so it stays healthy and it should grow really fast.

cons-when you wash your hair it will fall out like mad,so don't be surprised.
cons- if not done correctly, your hair will break. your hair will be dirty. you can lose a lot of hair.
