Does braiding your hair often, or every night, really make your hair grow faster?

how does that happen!

and if yeah,

how many braids should i do? 1, 2, doesnt matter?Does braiding your hair often, or every night, really make your hair grow faster?
Absolutely not.

There's nothing you can do to make your hair grow faster, but you can make it grow stronger and healthier. You can do this by avoiding heating tools when possible, conditioning your hair on a regular basis and using hair products formulated for your hair type and condition. A good diet, which includes plenty of water, will also help.

In fact, braiding your hair too often and/or too tight can actually damage your hair because of the tension on the strands.Does braiding your hair often, or every night, really make your hair grow faster?
What? No, if anything it promotes hair loss. If your tugging your hair when you braid or the braids are too tight then your hair is more likely to either break or fall out from the root. There is NO scientific evidence that braiding your hair helps your hair to grow faster.

If you want longer hair then take nutrition supplements such as silica or biotin, along with getting a trim every 4-6 weeks and applying treatments when possible. This will ensure you maintain healthy hair with no split ends which will in turn give you longer hair (your hair may not technically grow faster, but the process of gaining long hair will be quicker).
well, it matters.

if you just braid it, then wake up and take the braids out, then, no. it doesnt work. if you put a teeny teeny bit of olive oil on the ends of your hair, then braid it, then cover the braids with a plastic bag, then yes. it does.
