How can I get wavy hair without braiding it, cause that leaves like a crimped style. I don't like that?

I have permed hair but I got the perm last year and its pretty much gone and I don't want to get another one. So can someone tell me what to do?

Try different sized braids or plaits until you get the effect you want. I used to do that to get the wavy look all the time. I also used to take a scrunchy and fold the ends of my hair into it and that created a nice wavy effect at the ends of my hair - it's kind of funny because people used to mistake my relaxer for being my natural hair when I used to wear that style.How can I get wavy hair without braiding it, cause that leaves like a crimped style. u r most likely braiding it too tight. Try looser braids before going to bed, and take them out in the morning. The way I get my hair wavy is by applying gel to it after I wash it. Then I take the hair dryer and and scrunch up my hair with my hands while putting the dryer on it. Gel and moose usually does the trick.
after you wash your hair leave it dry naturally, then when its still damp brush it then just put your up in a bun-just do a ponytail but instead putting it all through fold it into bun.

Use a french twist instead of a braid. That way it will not look crimped.
