I have to agree with the first answer. I do this with my girls all the time. You can start braiding your hair after you have washed it or made it wet. I would pin up the sections on the top so you will even it out.. and then make med. braids all over. It will even work in a French braid.. and that one is quicker. Either french braid a pony tail.. or 2 pigtails. How can I get my hair wavy by braiding it?
one thing after you get out of shower or maybe if you could so itll still be wet braid it in shower if you can lol and then blow dry it and then leave it in couple hours or longer or you could braid it while its dry and sleep with it in your hair like that over night and wake up and take it out when you wake up and itll deff be braided then
Take a shower at night. You can run either a leave-in conditioner [if you use this, your hair will be softer] or hair gel through your hair and put it in braids. Big/small, doesn't matter, whatever your preference is.
I'd leave it in all night and then take it out in the morning. That's usually what I do.
after your hair is damp you can braid it anyway you want.
small big.
it really depends on how big you want your waves.
if you want them long braid it big
if you want it short and lots of waves braid it small...
i personally french braid my hair in two sections. at night. then i go to sleep in it. when you wake up take out the braid and spray your hair with hairspray. then scrunch it upways in big sections. it turns out really cute.

the best way would be to get cornrows and keep it in for a day but it must be tight when you take it out you will have a ripple effect in you hair. It look great for both boy and girls but it really depends on the hair..
Just braid it and spray it. Leave it in for a while, couple of hours maybe. Then take them out and you will have wavy hair.
