Is it very damaging for a caucasion woman to put her hair in braids (i.e. in jamaica on vaccation?) I have very healthy hair and heard that this can causes damage sometimes severe. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.A question about braiding hair?
If you do not keep it in to long, then it wont have as much of a chance of damaging your hair. take a short cold or hot shower every few nights to make sure that you hair is somewhat moisturized. then, sometimes if i have cornrows in, i put a teeny dab of moisturizing cream + sunblock on my scalp in between the rows.A question about braiding hair?
i think the only thing that would damage them per say would be too keep them in forever
i knew i girl who has gorgeously long hair and had dreads. she some how took them out and she looks fine.
Not bad as long as you do not keep them in too long ! You should be fine !
I do it but just like 5 inches and its fine.
