At your home for your freinds yes, but for the general public no. You have to have a cosmetology degree/ lisence to do anything involving the general public. You can slide a few through the cracks but if you mess up someones hair you leave your self open to be sued and fined.Can anyone tell me if in the state of north carolina do you have to have a hair braiding license to braid.?

still you cannot charge anyone for a service unless you are licensed. they can 'donate' to you..but you can not charge.
