it doesnt it actually is UNhealthy for your roots if you do cornbraid. and to me when i braid my hair and then take it out it turns wavy and then it gets tangled very easily and that is also unhealthy

Hair is a build up of proteins. Any way of tying it, putting things on it, massages, etc. can't add to the proteins in your scalp.
never heard of that before! but i heard if you rub your scalp a few minutes everyday it makes your hair grow half an inch more a year... lol... i read that in cosmo today haha
No it just makes you not brush your hair often so more hair is staying on your scalp.
